Angle Isolation Valve (2 Fittings per Set)

These speed up installation when the supply and return pipe or tubing comes through the wall. These are a compact, one-piece solution. To my eyes, the appearance is better than copper ells and PEX, but not as nice as chrome NPT elbows. (One person's art is another person's "Yuck"!) Bonus? One can stub-out the tubing, finish the wall, hang the radiator and then connect the supply & return through this valve without soldering near a wall or trying to get a PEX expander in the close spot. (Crimp ring? Too ugly for public viewing!) Some non-scientific goofing around many years ago showed that the flow rate through these was slightly less than 1/2" copper & ProPEX brass expansion ells, a little more than 1/2" Type-A Expansion PEX bend support- but that's kind of a huge radius for a through-wall installation. The integrated stop valves can be handy, too--> Time to paint the walls? Close the service stops, unscrew the G3/4 hand nuts & lift the radiator off the brackets. (I wouldn't use the stops partially open for flow control, however. The temperature control on the radiator will do a better job and quieter, too.) For the price versus time and fittings, these win. For appearance versus fittings, these win except for chrome NPT.

I needed the water to flow through the run and into each radiator, and thought, from the description, that this would achieve this. But this product fully heats a radiator before then flowing to the next in the run. So the last in the run does not fully heat. Why would anyone want this?
