Was the right part which nobody in Pittsburgh ,Pa knew what I was looking for let alone have it in stock. Usually local shelf purchases are convenient but less and less likely.

Product is mostly fit for the intended purpose.
Purchased this for a unit that had a brittle and cracked sediment trap, as all replacement parts for these are of the same configuration, and so it needed conversion. However, the instructions provided by the manufacturer did not apply to the specific model, despite it being listed in the instructions, and so the conversion was only partial, using the plug on the extension piece to cap the sediment trap without converting over the entirety of the flue to drain. This was in part because the original installers already had a bypass for condensate in the PVC flue, so this additional bypass would not have benefitted the homeowner, especially while trying to retrofit a kit with inadequate instructions. Otherwise, the kit was fine, if not a bit expensive, and I was able to restore the unit to safe function again.
