The Caleffi Thermostatic Control Head with Built-in Sensor is used to regulate the fluid flow to the radiator of a heating system. They are provided with a regulating element which automatically controls the opening of the valve to keep ambient temperature of the room where they are installed constant at the set value. This will prevent unwanted temperature rises and grants considerable energy savings.

Great product
I converted 6 old radiators from steam to forced hot water and wanted a way to operate each so that I can control the temperature in each room independently. With the new boiler I installed a smart circulator pump which turns on when the room temp goes down causing these controls to open the valves. The system has been completed for a couple months now and these thermostats operate the valves beautifully. The valves are separate items which need to be purchased.

Q: Will these work for panel radiators with M30 x 1.5 integrated valve connections? Also, I'm confused on the difference between Caleffi 200000 and 200001 thermostatic heads.

Q: I will be using this on an old cast iron radiator and it will be mounted where I would normally install an air vent. Does this unit include any type of venting?
