Glad it is available
This is 1/2" straight threads,which is what I needed to repair a manifold used for hydronic floor heat. This seems to be common for European manifolds. It seals with an o-ring instead of the threads sealing it.

Contains Lead
The Caleffi Air Valve contains lead in my tests and can't be used for domestic water applications where an air valve is needed. I wish that the company and/or SupplyHouse would indicate that these contain lead in the description.

Hello Brian. We will specify if a product is lead free in the description as manufacturers must meet certain standards in order to qualify their product as lead free. If there is no "Lead Free" specification, then the assumption is that there will be presence of lead. Please search for lead free the next time you are looking for products to be used for a domestic water application. If you are unsure, please call us at 888-757-4774 and we can help confirm whether a product is lead free and point you in the correct direction if it isn't.

wrong thread style
went to install and quickly realized it had EU style threads, not sure why they would sell this style in USA when we are using tapered threads. it worked but was not happy I failed to catch it.
