The Caleffi Mixing Valve Outlet Adaptor is used in systems producing domestic hot water or in hydronic and radiant heating systems. It maintains the desired output temperature of the mixed water supplied to the user at a constant set valve, compensating for both temperature and pressure fluctuations of the incoming hot and cold water. This adaptor allows a user to see the current output temperature.

I would buy this product again.
This temperature gauge and fitting is well made as is everything from Caleffi. Something of note. If your buying this to add a gauge to a mixing valve so you can monitor water temperature before it goes into your valve you will need to buy a check valve. The fitting is not machined to accept the snap in check like the regular fitting is..

CALEFFI 3/4" Sweat Adptr w/Gauge
Awesome product and Caleffi. Great Tech support from Caleffi. To make this product even more awesome I would like to see LED digital read outs (if possible) and able to turn it up or down depending on where the person is reading from: on top of boiler or on the bottom of boiler. Can't read it quick enough and exact numbers.
