- Fits within the humidifier's inner housing as the water-evaporative media
Compatibility & Applications:
- For Carrier whole-house humidifiers that use replaceable water panels, including Performance series bypass and fan-powered models where the parts list calls out P110-3545.
- Used for home HVAC humidification to help maintain balanced indoor humidity.
Installation & Operation Notes:
- Disconnect power to the HVAC system. Access the humidifier cabinet and slide the old pad out of the frame or cassette as shown in the unit's instructions.
- Install the new pad in the same orientation as the original, reconnect any distribution tray, and confirm proper water flow.
- Reinstall cabinet cover and restore power. Verify system operation during a call for humidity.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Replace the pad on the interval recommended in the humidifier's owner's manual or sooner in hard-water applications.
- If output is low or water is channeling, inspect the distribution tray and pad seating, and clear any scale buildup.

It's a filter pad.
It's just a filter pad for a humidifier. It does what its supposed to do: let water run over it and just sit there and take it. What's impressive though, is that I ordered it at 2pm on a Tuesday and it was at my doorstep at 11am the next day. That was awesome.
