The Cash Acme Tank Booster combines a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV), a Flexible Connector and a Water Heater Tee in one package, and can effectively double a household’s hot water heater capacity while delivering hot water at safe temperatures in residential/commercial applications. The TMV is factory set at 120°F (49°C), but may be easily adjusted, and can be used with SharkBite Flexible Water Heater Connectors and Ball Valves for easy installation in systems using copper, CPVC or PEX tubing - no need for additional transition fittings.
This PRO model features a lockable adjustment, recirculation port, non-returns integral to both inlets, filters for both inlets - hot inlet and cold inlet supplied and an adjustable temperature range: 95°F (35°C) - 130°F (54°C). Includes the Tank Booster Temperature Gauge.

Domestic and commercial hot water distribution. To control water temperature at the source of heat (hot water tank) or point-of-use (sinks, lavatories, or bath tubs).

Product worked just as described
I bought a heat pump water heater and after installation noticed it would not last 2 to 3 showers. I investigated ways to solve this discovered two solutions: a small electric water heater that kicks in when the water gets cold enough. Reviews weren't great and I didn't like the idea of it. The other was this which seemed too good to be true. I went with it because I wanted something that could fail but not cause water damage.
It paired well with the heat pump water heater because you can control when to heat it to 140. That way, it isn't always wasting energy. I also paired it with my recirculating pump though I haven't turned it back on since it seemed to waste the hot water way faster than it should have. I plan on reintroducing it with smart home automation to limit it's affect on the water heater. In any case, I was happy that incorporated it into its design. Had to add a bladder tank due to the check valves: normally water tank pressure pushes water back out to the curb but check valves prevent this.

Works well, set our hot water tank to 140, and this only lets 120 to the outlets in the house. Near no chance to get burns from hot water tank being set this high.
