Will the real sones please stand up
Regarding SLM70 (Delta Breez) bathroom fan the "Product Highlights" indicates 2 sones, the "Description" indicates 1.0 sones, and the "Features" indicated 0.6 sones. There are typos in the description too.

Good fan unit
Replaced an old bath fan with this unit, closest I could find for existing size. Exhaust had to be repiped for install.

Not that great
I replaced a 20+ year old 50 CFM 4 Sone Broan unit with this Delta BreezSlim 70 CFM 2 Sone unit. Overall the new unit was only a few db quieter. Total measured sound for the new unit is 24db. The BreezSlim G2 80/100CFM units are much much quieter if you have the space for one. The duct flap on the BreezSlim 70 is cheap plastic and doesn't seal well with the surrounding plastic duct housing. The flap kept falling off during installation. Installation was a pain as some parts stupidly screw in from the outside. There was no seal included to block the area where the electrical power wires enters the chassis. Overall, the installation process was not well designed.

I Highly Recommend This Vent Fan
Outstanding bathroom vent fan. It is quiet, looks good and performs very well. I would buy this again if and when I need another vent fan and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new vent fan. It is very well constructed and Supply Houses price is very reasonable.
