DiversiTech Flood Prevention Switches are simple to install, easy to service and extremely
reliable. As water level in the auxiliary or main drain pipe rises due to a clogged air conditioning
condensate drain, the switch shuts off the system - thus preventing water from overflowing and
causing damage to doors, walls and ceilings. At the heart of the switch is a durable yet precise
magnetic reed switch. Constructed of materials that will not rust or stick, the switch operates
smoothly every time.

Rapid delivery, easy to install
Switch was easy to install, to include making adjustments. Worked well with my air handler set-up, but it would need additional wire length to be used on other set-ups I have seen.

Switches should be required by code everywhere
Switches came quickly and were relatively simple to install, however the installation instructions said to splice into either the yellow or red wire, which is correct. However it should have mentioned that the yellow wire shuts off the compressor, while leaving the fan running and the red wire shuts down the whole system.
