perfect fit
I bought this strainer for a 2006 Elkay double sink. I was concerned that it might not fit, because it's specific to post-2010 models. I does fit nicely, but not all the way into the "click" receptical. If I push all the way down, it is very hard to remove. But that doesn't really matter since it rests below sink surface. This style of strainer is sooo much easier to clean out than the conventional deep strainer.

Product was about 1/8 to 1/16 inches in diameter smaller. It sits farther down in the drain opening than the original. Color is slightly different than the original. I installed it a week ago. I will wait a month or so to determine if it continues to holds water in the sink.

Exact Elkay replacement strainer basket
After 20 years, the original strainer nut corroded - we have very hard well water - and needed to be replaced.
This Elkay strainer is original to our kitchen sink and therefore works perfectly.
