Perfect for my setup

I have 24 units over 3 buildings with central boiler heat, and aging zone valves where at least one of the old one dies on me or springs a leak every couple winters (4 in the last year alone somehow). This is only my 2nd order for a 3 pack of these through SupplyHouse, but we have been using this same assembly for years now and they work great! Hard to beat this price. I have a boiler guy who comes in and installs them for me, but there really isn't much to it. Just a couple of nuts and wires. My system is a little tricky to try and get the air out and balance the pressure, so I just prefer letting him do it.

Hope this Schnieder brand lasts longer than the TACO crapola

these pop-tops don't last like they used to... Brass valve on the last version from TACO lasted 13 months; what a joy to drain and refill the system every year... Switches on actuator burn up every 5 years or so; thermostat powers the valve and actuator and opens the valve fine, but the dead actuator switch can't tell the boiler to GIDEEUP! Schnieder Actuator looks like it came off of different stamping tools than Taco, so well hope for the best.

Cheap

I had yet another end switch failure! This does not seem to be the valve of yesteryear! There is probably a reason they are cheap!

These work, but definitely not my first choice. Erie was a good valve, but now I experience frequent failures. I stock these because in Milwaukee they are very popular, but there are probably better zone valves on the market.

Cv refers to pressure loss. If you put the equivalent GPM through the valve, you would lose 1 PSI.
