Straightforward - But Not What I Needed
My dryer booster fan stopped working after I disconnected it to clean the lint out of it. When I looked at it again, I saw that the original hose was so dry and brittle that it had broken, probably when I was cleaning out the fan. Rather than spending $200 on a new fan that I'm probably not even qualified to install, I thought I would spend less than $10 (with shipping) to see if it was just the hose that was bad. It was worth a shot, but it looks like the fan motor itself is burned out. Nothing wrong with the parts I ordered, though.

The product is as described and works well, however the listing does not mention how long the tube is, and the tube ended up being about 6" too short for my application.

Perfect fit
This product replaced the hose and grommet on a Fantech booster fan for a clothes dryer. The original hose had dried and broken making the fan inoperable. The grommet is a challenge to install but it's in its place. I highly recommend the Fantech booster fan because it reduces drying time significantly. I'm glad that I saved the manual because I was able to troubleshoot why it quit working. An unbroken hose is a must.
