Easy to use, directions are straight forward, fast ship, and it works.
Used on commercial dryers that are using louvered dampers for exhaust. I'm looking into doing these with inline fans as well since these worked so well
Make sure you have incoming power to the switch area as well as the load to the damper...

Great solution!
We had installed a Fantech Dryer booster fan. After repeated customer calls regarding the pressure switch sensitivity either not sensitive enough or too sensitive to come on we had to put this problem to bed. We installed the ACCS40 AC current sensing switch on the back of the dryer by the terminal block which allowed us to bring one of the line wires through the current sensing switch. This booster fan now comes on when the dryer is turned on - problem solved! Simple to use!

It works
We're using this switch to turn on/off a light, not a dryer booster fan.
The switch activates (closes) instantly but there is a delay of 5-10 seconds for it to open when the current is removed. While this wasn't what we expected it to do it is actually desirable for our use that the light remain on briefly. A bonus feature.
The switch also has a small amount of leakage when open, enough to cause a CFL bulb to flicker. We'd rather use a CFL bulb but because of the flicker we're using an incandescent bulb instead. Problem solved.
Pexsupply delivered quickly and without any issues.

Current sensing switch
It works well if it is used to switch a device that draws the rated current 2.5a. If you use it to control small devices with less then.125 mA. such as buzzers or pilot lights the aux.contacts will close prematurely. In short dont try to control(example<15watts/120v)

GREAT SWITCH
We are using this switch to turn on a dryer booster when the dryer comes on. We have used current relays in the past but require more wiring and labor with more technical experience. This switch simplifies this application and could be used in a host of other applications.

Best booster fan control
This is the best booster fan control I have seen. There is no sail switch to get clogged with debris.
