Q: Hey Guys, Does this motor Replace an older Fasco Motor FH-1 from a 1976 in wall Fasco Heater. it looks identical, but the ratings are a bit above the ratings on my unit. at 50 amps, and 60 hz, 240 volts the mounting pattern is the same at 1 7/8 and it is a CCW fan rotation at the shaft. My Motor does work but it kinda squeals at times, I have tried to lubricate it with a 30 weight electrical motor oil, but it appears to have a lot of end play. by that I mean the shaft slides in an out within the housing of the motor, seems to rub when turned on but it doesnt rub as it is turned off and slows down to a stop. I would appreciate any information or advise you guys can offer me.. thanks In advance for you response...

that is not the replacement for the FH motors, call w model & serial # of the unit its in.
