Sidewall venter blower wheel
Found the blower wheel locally for but for over twice the price of Supply House. The blower wheel was easy to install after removing the old corroded wheel that had to be cut from the shaft. The hex set screw was corroded in the hub. Once removed, just needed a hex key and it installed quickly. The old blower motor had to be removed (unwired) from the side wall venter in order to remove the corroded wheel. Standard tools were all that were needed.

BOUGHT BLOWER WHEEL TO REPLACE MFG. ORIGINAL PART. REPLACED MOTOR AND BLOWER WHEEL AT 1/3 COST OF WHOLE NEW UNIT THAT HVAC TECH WANTED TO CHRG. $800 FOR. WILL DO BUSINESS AGAIN AS NEED ARISES.

Stainless Steel Blower Wheel for power vent

Great first time experience

The stainless steel is a good idea . I can't believe Field controls didn't use that for the original wheel . It's not like the power vent is a new item and it is subject to the weather .

Used this wheel to replace a completely rusted out one. None of my local suppliers even knew what I was talking about when I called them. It was pathetic. Supplyhouse had an exact match and I'm back on business. No cons with this order. All pros. Keep up the good work

Greetings, Since the replacement for the SWGII-4HD is sold as an assembly, my first thought would be no. But, if the original fan is attached to the drive shaft and held on by a screw, then I think it would work. The 4 refers to the diameter of the fan. BTW. The fan failures can be caused by high heat of the furnace exhaust. If your furnace is old or you may considering a replacement, look for a high-efficiency furnace. These newer units have a much lower exhaust temperature which will mean a longer life for the vent fans and motors. Good luck.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe dimensions of the SWG-4HD Blower Wheel are 2" X 4 1/4" with a 5/16" shaft. It is made out of stainless steel and rotates counterclockwise.
