Replacement motor working great.....
This replacement motor is the better way to go (vs. a whole new assembly - less than half the cost). It only took about 5 minutes to replace and has been working great for a month now.

Unreliable product
Installed OVD vent damper 2-3 years ago. Worked fine first year, second year wouldn't open reliably. Switched damper to 'hold open' for remainder of heating season.
Bought new motor assembly this year. Worked fine for a week or two then started NOT CLOSING.
What good is a product that is supposed to save fuel that you end up having to spend almost a hundred bucks a year to keep it working? I'm spending MORE money replacing motor assemblies than it's saving me.
Steer clear, it's not a good product, very unreliable.
