The SSX16 features a high-efficiency Copeland scroll compressor and is designed for the consumer who desires superior comfort, quiet operation, and environmentally friendly performance.
In order to achieve a 16 SEER rating the unit must be match with a variable speed air handler or variable speed gas furnace and with a txv-thermostatic expansion valve . A 16 SEER system will save approximately 7% - 8% more than a 15 SEER system.
