QuickStrap Expansion Tank Mounting Bracket (2.5 Gal. Capacity)

Was able to hang the expansion tank horizontally in the space available. Product works as stated!

Love these brackets ... perfect solution to mount my expansion tanks for a dual system. Only thing I might suggest is that the manufacturer add "points" on the backside to temporarily tack them in a stud ... Would make the install much easier! Also, adding extra notches on the front side to accommodate the tank weld joint at various height would be helpful. Regardless ... great product.

As the headline says, it was exactly what I needed. House was built in 2014. Not sure why the plumber left the expansion tank dangling from 1 inch pipe but it seems to be a common practice. Major problem if the weight of the tank caused it to break off. Anyhow, thanks to this strapping mechanism, that won't be an issue.

This expansion tank bracket was just what I needed. The way they plumbed my house is very odd. The only way I could install an expansion tank was to mount it to the wall. This bracket worked out excellent.

Easy to install and work fine.

Mounted this bracket to a small 2x4 to space it away from the wall and line up the expansion tank inlet with my water heater tee fitting. Then spread the 90 degree bracket flanges open for precise alignment. Band clamps hold tank very secure. Much better than tank just hanging from the pipes.

Recently used the QuickStrap Expansion Tank Bracket for a domestic hot water expansion tank. Simple design, yet effective. It was easy enough to install, holds the tank securely, what more do you want?

Just make sure to install a brass union on the 3/4" tapping on the expansion tank for easy future maintenance.
