The Series 72 Modutrol IV Motors spring return and non-spring return motors are used to control dampers and valves. The motors accept a current or voltage signal from an electronic controller to position a damper or valve at any point between open and closed.

We use the motor to control the louvers on a vapor combustion system outdoors so we needed the weatherproofing kit. The motor was an exact match of what I needed. The price was better than the price that the contractor who normally does the maintenance on the unit could get it for.

Works as advertised
Item is used to control damper doors on landfill flare system. Product fits exactly right, but some of the settings needed to be changed from factory settings. This was a little rough since the part is generic and the flare manual didn't cover the settings of small accessory parts like this one. But with some guesswork and trial it is up and running good.
