Simply slide the plate behind the existing loose faucet. Secure the plate to the wall and the faucet to the plate. Sized to fit absolutely every hose bib faucet from "home improvement stores" and 99% of any others. The plate is made of very sturdy 3/16" brushed aluminum, and easy to drill for any fixture.

Clean looking and sturdy
Previous homeowners installed a spigot in the garage but did not use a silcock rated for freezing weather. Normally, this isn't a problem, but it appears that they kept the garage open and turned it on during the winter bursting a copper pipe.
Upon replacing the pipe and silcock, I was faced with a challenge because they used a much larger diameter hole than modern silcocks use. This Bib Buddy allows me to slide behind the silcock, cover the hole, and securely fasten to the wall.
The only thing that would have been nice is a version with pre-drilled holes, to save time. However, this was easy to install, looks great, and resolved a problem for me without me needing to put in new drywall!

great idea but some deficiencies
Product is a great idea. Concrete screws for mounting to masonry are too long. Also they only work in solid concrete or brick. No good in mortar. There needs to be a better way to fasten the sillcock to the mounting plate. Even with predrilling, the screws provided broke off immediately requiring them to be drilled out of the mounting plate and an anchor set in the masonry behind using longer screws.

Came with the hardware to mount the plate and spigot. With this, I can remove teh spigot and change it without having to remove the plate from the brick.

Exactly what I needed
I had a new outside faucet installed and it was a bit loose. I searched and searched online for something that would make it sturdy and attach solidly to the house. This was the perfect solution. And for someone who is mechanically challenged, was easy enough to install. Perfect, and reasonably priced.
