Works when there is no sump pit
It's very hard to find a product that will automatically turn on a pump in a locations that does not have a reservoir or pit. This is perfect for area where you have a pump that empties down to a fraction of an inch in a normally dry area. I use this one in the area around an AC condenser that occasionally clogs and another one that sits by a low spot on a slab that occasionally gets water from a sink overflow and an AC overflow. There's nothing else like it on the market. Will detect 1/8 inch water and turn on pump for a few minutes then wait and sense again.
