The HydroCheck HC6000v2 Electronic Sump Pump Float Switch with Hi-Lo Dual Sensors and Built-in Alarms is a universal float switch that works with all types of sump pumps. Unlike other float switches that have a small or fixed range, the HC6000v2 is highly adjustable with 12ft sensor cables that provide the user with complete control of where the pump turns on and turns off. Built-in alarms will alert you if there is a problem with the pump or the discharge plumbing.

It has a rating of 1 hp up to 15 A which is what I have in a Flotec high capacity pump.

Not exactly what I needed or expected.
Only rated for 1/3 hp motor. The alarm feature isn't needed for my application. I do like the adjustability of the sensors.

Q: I am looking for a replacement for a Level Guard switch. This looks like it will do the job plus allow me to adjust when the the switch turns on and off based on water level. I saw one comment stating that this switch is only rated for up to 1/3 HP pumps and just wanted to confirm that this will be able to handle my Zoeller N98 1/2 HP pump or if you recommend another switch. Thank you!
