My self-feeder was leaking and over filling the boiler. I changed the gasket out a few weeks ago and it's been working well. So far so good.

Saved the customer a Lot of money! Repair your Feed Valve.
Electronic feeder solenoid valve was passing water and flooding the steam boiler. Disassembled the valve body and replaced the needle and diaphragm and back in business without replacing the whole Feeder Assembly.

must have product
i got to this after a lady with a MM VFE-24V had her house flooded from a calcified diaphragm the actual valve is made by robert shaw as a dishwasher feed valve
so this kit will work for on MacDonald Miller feeders as well even though they dont offer it or recommend it as the actual valve is the same there is a 24v and 110v version and supply house sells both of those as well as 45-343 and 45-344
supply house also sells the robert shaw branded ones "S-45 Dish Washer Valve (120V)" and "S-45 Commercial Plumbing Valve (24V)" - but for UL listing compliance i would stick to the hydrolevel ones
going to start offering this as a maintenance service - especially in hard water areas

I would buy this kit again when needed!
I repaired a $400 feeder valve for about $17. Boiler man was willing to install a new one, I got tired of waiting and found this kit. Works like new again.
