Description

Hydrolevel low water cut-offs are electrically operated. A probe is installed in the boiler shell or external manifold and is connected to the control unit. Water is used as a conductor to complete the circuit between the probe and the boiler shell. When water is in contact with the probe, the circuit is completed; when the water level drops below the probe, the circuit opens. Hydrolevel controls provide contacts to de-energize the burner circuit in a low water condition.

Do the job

My last lower water cut -off die so I bought the same model here I installed by myself is not that hard. Now is working perfecly.

Most Liked Negative Review

Not so sure

I replaced my 24 volt feed water valve with a VXT feed water valve and I have a 24 volt cycle low water cutoff and it is not feeding. The low water cutoff does cycle the boiler off when the boiler is low but it is not activating the feed water valve. The boiler runs normally what can be wrong ?

Low water cutoff

So far 4 weeks and working good. Adapted to a watts well.Tested low water which turned on led and prevented burner from coming on. I would recommend this product and Supply House for their commitment to customer service. Product was delivered rapidly. Time will tell how well the cutoff lasts.

Ordered and received part as ordered and on time- great

Using for older oil fired pool heater. Model of boiler did not accommodate sensor provided (which is standard to most boilers) not able to use device, and will have to return.

I had the same problem as you, but this is actually what this unit is supposed to do as it has a lock out on firing the boiler until reset it hit. The sell another unit without the lockout feature for use with an auto feed. When I put in the auto feed valve to remedy this problem I simple tied the two lead going to the reset switch together. This essentially prevents the lockout and my autofeed system was happy again.

I'm having an issue also and I have to manually add water. Water goes down very slow so I have not been able to see whether or not I am having the same issue with low water cutoff as you are. I'll try to see what is happening next time I change the water.

We recommend that you adjust the flow on the feeder or clean the probe.
