The heavy duty mechanical time switch is designed for industrial, commercial and residential applications. Features a high horsepower rating that is ideal for loads up to 40 amps resistive from 125-volts and direct 24-hour time switch control of most loads. All models are equipped with one "ON" and one "OFF" tripper. The unit contains a 1-circuit standard On/Off Single Pole Single Throw 40 Amps, 4000 watt capacity, 125 volts.

Not Heavy Duty
Installed on pool pump and changed driver gear twice in 6 months. Have not used timer dial to turn pump off so unsure of why gear keeps losing a cog. My opinion is - not heavy duty and would not recommend. I am looking for other options now.

Used as a timer for long day lighting. easy to install. Easy to set and works as it should. Manual switch is easier to use than the one it replaced.

Working great easy to set mechanical timer with a good amperage rating for heavy loads.
I use my timer for automotive engine 1500 watt tank heater which doesn't need to be turned on till middle of the night
