1/2" CTS x 1/2" NPT Speedfit Brass Male Stem Adapter (Low Lead)

Note: Stem adapters do not have push-fit connections on the CTS side. They will not accept PEX, copper, or CPVC pipe. They have the same outside diameter as PEX, copper, and CPVC of the same nominal size and can be only attached to fittings that do have push-fit connections.

ProLock Brass Push-to-Connect Male Stem Adapters are the easiest and most dependable way to add a male threaded connection to another ProLock fitting and join Copper, PEX, or CPVC pipe in any combination with no solder, glue, or tools required. JG ProLock fittings use a collet with stainless steel teeth that grips the pipe when fully inserted, and an EPDM O-Ring to provide a permanent, leak-proof seal. When twisted into place, the locking cap locks the pipe in place and creates an audible click, ensuring maximum security. Disconnection is just as easy with no tools needed; simply twist the cap 1/4 in. turns counterclockwise to unlock then depress collet against the fitting to remove the pipe. ProLock Twist-to-Lock fittings are suitable for hot and cold potable water and hydronic heating applications. The have been specifically designed for the Professional Plumber.
