A11 Series low temperature
cutout controls are available with
SPDT or SPST contact action.
Typical applications include the
sensing of low temperature
conditions to avoid overcooling or
icing of hydronic coils, cooling
coils and liquid handling pipes.
The controls are compact and
sturdy, and have an adjustable
temperature set point range with a
fixed differential. The range
adjustment screw is accessible at
the bottom of the control, and at
the top of the control when the
cover is removed.
Precision "repeat" accuracy.
Unaffected by ambient
temperature at the control
diaphragm cup and 4 ft.
(1.2 m) capillary (20 ft. [6.1 m]
sensing bulb must be in the
controlled area). Direct
reading scale is calibrated at
Johnson Controls', Goshen,
Indiana plant (800 ft. [244 m]
above sea level) at 35°F (2°C).
Critical installations at higher
altitudes should be set "higher"
on the basis of 1F° (0.56C°) for
each 1800 ft. (549 m) of
elevation.
