Direct reading scale is calibrated at Johnson Controls', Goshen, Indiana plant (800 ft. [244 m] above sea level) at 35°F (2°C). Critical installations at higher altitudes should be set "higher" on the basis of 1F° (0.56C°) for each 1800 ft. (549 m) of elevation.
