Made banging noise in entire house
I replaced a Moen positemp in my in laws guest bath. I plumbed this house around 2012, so i believe this was the original cartridge. Original got tight and eventually couldn't be turned and would not shut off. "Simple" fix to install the kissler cartridge which says "ceramic" on it, that seems like it should last and its half the price of the Moen! Not long later, my in laws notice a frequent banging noise anytime they use washing machine, dishwaser etc. After lots of attempting to find a loose pipe etc, I finally reverted to the OEM Moen cartidge, problem went away. I have used thsi replacement other places (Camp showers) and it seemed to work fine, so use your own judgement, just be aware that the pressure balance spool within the cartridge can make quite a bit of racket.

Easy fix for MOEN bath/wer
Easy removal of cartridge and it is a 50/50 as to the correct way to install but easy flip if needed.
