Pretty much the title. Annoying to set up but easy to use once set up. LG LVN241HV4. Might buy more for mini splits.

Easy to install and setup

This LG Wi-Fi Module works just like I hoped it would. Installation was easy and it seamlessly integrated with my SmartThinQ APP. Just be aware that finding the correct plug on the units PC panel can be tricky.

This was exactly as ordered and worked great. This allowed me to add WIFI and control my 2 LG low wall units in the same app with my regular units that came with built-in WIFI. That said, had I known how deep into the unit I had to go to install this I probably would have had my HVAC guy do it. Not anywhere near as easy as I thought it would be. That's on LG, not Supply House. LG support was helpful and I eventually got it done The second one actually went pretty quickly. If LG provided better documentation it would have gone smoother. I had to piece together info for multiple sources and the schematics I found didn't match my motherboard at all.

Great company great service

The product itself is great. It's well packaged, the directions are clear, and in my case it was super easy to physically install - I think the whole process took 5 minutes. However, to actually buy this with confidence and then use it in the app, the details are lacking. I believe this is an issue with LG, and not SupplyHouse. I was searching for this product and when I found it, it felt impossible to confirm compatibility for my system. Thankfully, I knew someone with the same setup that had installed this module previously, so I was able to get the part number from them and confirm. Thinking that struggle was over, I was surprised when I went to setup the app because the same situation existed - the instruction with the module do not match the app, and the systems in the app are very non-descript, so it's really hard to link the app to the module. Searching for it, kind of an 'auto-install' option in the app, is buggy as well. I ended up resetting my thermostat a couple times until the search feature worked. Despite these criticisms, I would recommend this product. Once up and running, it does what it's supposed to do. Being able to set temperatures and schedules from my phone, even while away from home, is what I wanted and that works flawlessly.

Works perfectly, and needed if you want your Gallery unit to be wifi connected. Our ArtCool Mirror units already have wifi installed, but our ArtCool Gallery unit was wifi capable, and needed this module. It's plug 'n play, and connected right away.

I installed this myself on an ArtCool Gallery unit. With some diligent zip tying, I was able to conceal the device into my ArtCool Gallery unit. I turned the unit off, then turned off the breaker at the main panel to take power away from the entire unit. I then removed the face of the unit to expose the internals. There was one or two screws holding a beauty cover over the motherboard. The WIFI plug was blue and the plug on the board was also blue where it is to be installed. I put everything back together and fired it up. It started heating when I first turned it on and then turned off with a fault. I restarted the unit with the breaker again, and it's worked perfectly ever since.
