1/2 HP Commercial High Head Drain Pump - 230v - 10 ft Cord, 2" Connections

It's was for one of my bathrooms and it had a little trouble, but they replaced it quickly and now it's great!

Almost silent operation-rated for 180*f liquid temp (the 200* value on the yellow sticker is for the cord insulation) - huge storage capacity (an alleged 5 gallons) -access hatch for easy service and a manual bypass in case the switch does fail. If this all sounds too good to be true you are very wise indeed-the quietness in operation can be an issue for certain people who are accustomed to hearing their old pump work-opt for the alarm model and any doubts about the pump working should be alleviated what remains problematic is the maker requiring venting but specifically disallowing aav's along with 'cheaters' and herein lies the big problem-for us. Recommend / Install for a 'friend' absolutely the 405 is astounding in its performance-you really do get all that you pay for, design and build quality is superb but as for installing as a straight business deal, absolutely not-yet.

So far so good I Installed this pump under a kitchen island and ran a new drain line around the perimeter of the house as the existing drain line had several breaks under the concrete. Works great and is pretty quiet considering it's a sump pump I went with the commercial model for higher temp rating and discharge line diameter.

I bought these for a commercial application where they were a necessity due to drain location restrictions. The Liberty 405 is a quality unit at a great price from SupplyHouse!

Fast shipping came before it was expected. This commercial pump was the best answer for my pump out sink. I recommend that people using the Liberty pump to go with the higher horse power, it is worth the extra cost.

Had the plumbers install the pump yesterday and everything seems good so far.

I used this under a fiat laundry sink. This is a very strong pump I think liberty makes a very good pump, and would buy the 1/2hp model again for another job.

I purchased this pump to provide for a drain for a bar sink in a basement finishing project. My sewer line goes out the basement wall about 3' off the floor, so I needed to pump the waste water out. I use it for a bar type sink in the finished area and a utility tub sink in the unfinished area. When designing the plumbing for the 2 sinks, I realized I could easily throw in a urinal. I had to build a raised floor since the drain pipe was too high to mount the urinal at the proper height off the concrete floor. Since the pump documentation warns about using it for chemicals (like paint thinner, etc), I'm not sure how it will react to urine, so I use a 1 gal/flush flush valve to make sure plenty of water does into the pump as well. The pump works great. When it goes off, it takes less than 10 seconds to empty the tank. I can't speak to longevity since I've had it installed for about 2 weeks, but if you want to install a sink, washer or even a urinal in your basement and don't have a sewer line lower then the basement floor, this pump will do the job!
