This compact 170 GPH pump features a 1/4" MNPT discharge, 7' shut-off head capability, and screened inlet. This pump is not recommended for aquariums, swimming pools and fuel oil transfer.

This mini mite lives forever!
We bought this Little Giant Mini Mite pump 27 years ago and it's still working although the bottom basket part has broken but the pump still functions. Definitely would buy another one. Well made! A workhorse.

I would not buy this product again
The cord on the pump was ridiculously short. The old pump I had was at least 4 times longer so the plug would not have to be submerged under water.

The Best Little Pump
I bought this pump 10 years ago and it just now stopped working. It worked year round even in the winter with 6 inches of snow. I just ordered my second pump and am looking forward to a repeat performance.

I probably won't have to buy another one for 50 years!
The last one we had was probably 50 years old. It belonged to my husband's uncle. We inherited it at least 10 years ago. I would leave it in the fountain year 'round, with a heater in the water in winter for the birds. Every years when I plugged it in would start right up! Even this year, until it finally gave up. I was so delighted when I looked at the info on it and discovered it was still being made! I immediately ordered a new one...I love the sound of my fountain when I am outside doing yardwork, or simply sitting on my deck.
