Fantastic pump
This pump exceeded my expectations. Produces alot more gpms then my 17 yr old 1.5 hp starite pump and only uses 1.6 amp more. This is a very quiet unit as well . This really is a fantastic pump and is quality built.

Not what was ordered
Fought with this pump for two years before replacing. It never came close to spec sheet. I opened it this winter to reveal inferior thermo plastic impeller (not the brass I paid for) and obviously rebuilt. I suspected it was not new on arrival and did receive a discount. In hindsight I should have simply sent it back and avoided the headache, that's in me. Never again.

When you are in a bind, you count on SupplyHouse
I had a pump failure that runs my exterior home fire sprinkler system. I called to buy a replacement. When asked how long ago it was purchased, I found that it was just out of warranty. THEY COVERED MY LOSS!
This kind of in house customer service is rare in America today.

Purchased this to replace a Giant 1.5 HP pump that failed after many years. Local well dealer wouldn't take the time to look online and said he couldn't get this brand in, but instead for 3x as much could replace with a different manufacturer which meant changing all the piping for our irrigation outtake. Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, the pump must be protected from the elements. The pump should be installed in a clean, dry and ventilated location which provides adequate drainage and room for servicing and protection from freezing temperatures.
