Yes. Unit has integral plug/socket with 115vac style plug. Switch turns socket side on when floats up. I use it on a sump pump that had 3 failed float switches in 5 years. I rigged the built in float always on and plugged sump pump into this switch's integral socket. Plenty of good quality cord allowing me to attach to pump in place of old float switch. Used one of these for five years without a problem and replaced it just to be safe. Plan on doing that every five years. (My pump cycles a lot when it is wet ouside. I figure 5 years = about 10,000 cycles. )
