Straightforward and sensible
After having two arguably more sophisticated and definitely more expensive thermostats in the house, both of which were tedious to program before eventually failing in maddening and heat wasting ways, I was attracted to this Luxpro because of the more straightforward, less menu-driven programing. So I bought two of them and they have performed in predictable and understandable ways, easy to program and easy to override. Their screens are smaller and less flashy but it turns out the bigger screens are unnecessary. For example, for all of them illuminating the screen requires pressing any button, but for the previous thermostats doing so changed a setting too! With the Luxpros the first click only illuminates the screen, then succeeding clicks alter the settings you want to change. Again; sensible.
