Replacement Combustion Chamber Kit for Weil-McLain WTGO, WGO, SGO, & 386-700-355, 1072

I order a combustion chamber kit for my Weil-McLain furnace via phone and received it within 2 days. Awesome delivery time. The staff was really really helpful. Replaced the rear portion of the kit with no problems. The unit was a good snug fit. I then turned attention to the door segment. It was not going. After a bit of filling it was still not going to fit. I compared it with the old liner and there was a significant difference. Called the company and they sent a replacement unit out and I received it within 2 days. Once again, great service. This section fit perfectly with a small bit of filing and dampening. Would use this company again without question. And yes, the price was very reasonable!

Hopefully this combustion chamber liner kit fits some boilers like a glove, but if you have a Weil-McLain Model WTGO-4 Series 3, spend the extra cash and buy the W-M OEM liner instead. Yes, the description of the product says it will fit a W-M WTGO chamber, but don't believe everything you read. The interior piece was ok, but too large, and had to be shaved down on the edges. Even then, banging it in there caused the top flaps to break off because the shape of that piece did not match the shape of the chamber. But the real problem was the piece for the inside of the boiler door. Not. Even. Close. The amount of time and effort spent to make it "fit" resulted in me having to shave off so much from the corners that it wore right through the material and left holes, which of course defeats the purpose of the liner. I tried to fill those in with pieces of the chamber floor blanket but without reopening the boiler door to check, I have no idea if that helped at all. Even so, the protection is surely compromised in those areas. The only part that actually worked was the floor blanket because how can you screw that up? This kit is just too generic and in this case, one size does NOT fit all.
