This R410A unit is no longer manufactured as per the AIM Act of 2020. While replacement parts are available for repairs, a new unit will require replacing the entire system to support the new A2L R32 refrigerant.

Amazing Unit so far
This thing can get colder than an Eskimo's Stepmother! I bought this and a 36K unit at the same time. As always, SupplyHouse.com were great at getting them out to me as quickly and well packed as possible. Both units are installed and I believe I am probably getting more bang for the buck out of the smaller one simply due to location. They both are incredibly quiet, not only at the air handlers but at the compressors as well. I'm not quite sure that they are truly DIY in a situation like mine (high mounting positions and almost full use of the 25' lineset lengths). I could not have done it alone and I actually ended up with two friends helping me on the 36K (2nd floor with offset lineset hole). Just bulky because of the precharged linesets. I am hoping for trouble free operation for a while simply because of the quick connect fittings on both the liquid and suction sides. These might be hard to service in the field but time will tell. The install takes a gentle/conscientious touch. Overall the quality is fairly high and the price is right. I would do it again without hesitation.

Q: The directions say to check for leaks before opening valves. Am I to assume the lines should be pressure tested and then put into a vacuum before releasing the 410

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe lineset is precharged with refrigerant. You do not need to evacuate or vacuum it. Check to make sure it has not been punctured or damaged in transit.
