A Good Fit and a Good Product
Locating a gate valve for 1 1/2 copper pipe that would fit in the location of the old one was difficult to find at a local plumbing store. Your website allowed me to measure the size of the housing to assure that it would fit in the old location. This one is identical to my 30 yr old one and saved me time in installation.

A decent gate valve
To be honest, I like the neatness and operation of the Apollo ball valve. But let's face it, Apollo valves are EXPENSIVE! For less-often used locations, these are great valves. They aren't exactly full-port, but they are close enough for the work I do.

Q: Hello, This product picture shows a threaded end valve in a 2 1/2" size and lead free which is what I need. The specifications say it is a solder end valve which I don't want. Is it a thread end or solder end. If it is a solder end can you get me a 2 1/2" lead free threaded end gate valve?
