I also had the same problem with these valves. I tried grease and WD 40 and finally just bought a brass gate valve as I was afraid that they would break when I had to use them. I hear they do get easier with use though but I still have them on my stock shelf. Let me know how yours work out.
Sure, From my perspective, the valves are hard to turn. The first one I received I sent back. On the second one, I learned it is the nature of the valve and it's size. After turning it a few times it does get easier as you have said. I use a small piece of pvc to help me if I need it. I do not think lubrication would help although I do not know? I have found the valve to be very sturdy and durable just a little hard to turn. I hope that helps. Thank you. Bill Crowder
I have the same problem. I tried spray silicone and others. I keep a short section of PVC pipe handy to assist in operating the valve.
Use the law of levers. Bolt a long lever to the valve, the longer the lever, the more your strength is multiplied. Even a child can turn the lever if it is long enough.
Yes they are full flow. They are very nice units. Hard to turn at first but well crafted. Bill
YES they are full flow
Yes, I have purchased these valves and they are full flow ball valves.
