They don't forgive
I have been using these for a while now compared to the brass ones I have tighten these sooo much that I have to use a 18" pipe wrench and a cheater bar to get them to stop dripping and when I use a expansion tank it really crazy I have to use a1-1/16" wrench with a cheater bar and when that slips I have a stickle back wrench from Germany 10" also with a cheater bar so I going back to brass

Works Fine
Use all the time in gas applications without issue.
As a note, all stainless steel pipe fittings will gall when mated with another stainless steel fitting, know what you are getting before you use it.

poor quality - can't recommend
Installed this elbow in a marine application and experienced leaking that could not be remedied. Threads are not smooth and did not seal. Wish I had taken the first negative review to heart.

Standard stainless fitting
Is fine. Has standard npt threading which galls. Use of nickel based thread tape for stainless and some thread dope with Teflon prevents seizing when tightening.

Quality Product
These stainless elbows are quality products. I also purchased the Stainless 1"x2 nipples , same brand, and would say they are marginal, threads were not cut to a consistent depth on 3 of them around the circumfuse and had knicks in the threads. Took excessive force and sealer to stop minor leaks on minimal 50 PSI water.
