The M18 FUEL Chain Snake provides the power to descale up to 75' out delivering full power at max distance. The Chain Snake delivers the easiest, most controlled wall-to-wall clean, featuring an infinite variable speed, an electronic foot pedal, and a mechanical clutch. Eliminate the hassle of extension cords, finding electrical outlets, and unreliable drill connections, the Chain Snake provides access to power anywhere. The included (2) M18 REDLITHIUM High Output HD 12.0 Battery Packs allow the tool to clear 150' of scale build-up per charge. The M18 FUEL High Speed Chain Snake comes with 1-1/2", 2", 3", and 4" standard chain knockers to clear grease and soft blockages. Highly recommend

Surely paid for its self 12 to 1500 dollars to call a plumber to unclog 4 inch drain for a separator tank. used several times since purchasing works great. Cable protector is awesome. No pinching or twisting gloves and fingers like old barrel snake.

Clears blockages in minutes!

We've used this Milwaukee Chain machine several times since getting it. Not only does it clear blockages quickly, the process is simple and cleanup is a breeze. No looking for an electrical outlet, or fishing out the extension cord! The foot pedal makes the process seamless so both hands can easily be used. We are loving it so much we may be purchasing the smaller one soon. Thanks for a great product!

Not powerful

I have used it for few jobs and the cable snapped inside the main sewer luckily I was able to pull the head using my other snake, I don't think it was worth it to buy it

2 Major Flaws

Purchased at our Phcc trade show, from the Milwaukee product engineer that designed the product. With only 2 rear wheels, it's awkward to maneuver through doorways. Should be easy to add 2 smaller wheels on the narrow side to allow it to roll on edge. Issue 2 is the 75'of cable will not retract into the drum in the upright operating position. Approximately 10' will not push back into the drum. If you don't have room to lay it on its back, I have to take it outside with 10' sticking out and then lay it down, Then remove most of the cable and rewind it all back in. There is no way to clean 75' of pipe with the machine unless you have 2 different access points. The cable only pulls out 74' and that's right up against the housing. so probably closer to 72' in reality. add a few extra feet to the cable and have a true 75' usable cable that you advertise. The CS rep was useless and engineer is no longer with the company.
