Evidently, some people, like us, have experienced failures with these blower fan blades where they start to fatigue and fail where the blade assembly overlaps the fan hub. The metal starts to tear and the fan blade or blades sag, hitting the fan guard. This item was a perfect replacement and now it runs quiet and smooth.

Works as designed
This is the oem replacement for my 125 btu Hot Dawg garage furnace produced by Modine. Works as designed, the original fan failed after about 6 years, developing cracks along the bends that are part of the design (I assume for rigidity). The new fan also has these bends so I am probably going to buy another at some point.
