PDP150 Vertical Power Vented Propeller Unit Heater - 150,000 BTU

Using to heat a nearly 20,000 cubic foot shop at 5,000' elevation. Shop is very well insulated and this unit heats it easily at modestly cold temps - low 30s at night so far. Guessing there will be no issue at single digits and below zero later in the year. Workmanship seemed a little shoddy (Wires flying everywhere, pressure switch tube 6" longer than needed and sticking out, cheesy thermostat terminal screws, etc) but but no worse than what comes from China, so I guess that is a win. Main fan is pretty loud - the blades are rectangular and set right on top of an internal vane, so you get an extra noise every time a blade passes it. That happens 100's of times per minute, making an annoying droning sound. Could be a lot better for what is probably little or no extra cost, but you have to make the effort. It blows hot now - Hopefully it will keep working without issues. One reason for selecting is what should be easy availability of parts. Guess I am about to find out! Supply House was great - answered multiple questions, gave solid advice and responded quickly. Do recommend but only because I don't think are any reasonable alternatives.

I use this heater in a greenhouse. It works well for intended purpose.
