Bring smart plumbing to your home with Flo by Moen. This Smart Home system is the first water security system that monitors and protects your home from leaks and water damage with a single smart water valve, no additional sensors needed. Designed by plumbing and tech industry professionals, Flo by Moen is installed on the main water supply line of the home. Through the Flo by Moen mobile app or your web browser, you can see live water use, including water flow rates, pressure and even temperature. If the smart water valve detects an issue (e.g. high pressure, freezing water or a small leak) it will alert you through the app so you can fix it before that issue causes damage. If there's a catastrophic failure, like a burst pipe or someone leaves the water running, you'll be alerted in the app allowing you to shut the water off - no matter where you are.

EASY INSTALL ! easy to follow app, love the idea I can control it from my cell phone and another thing is we get a reading on amount of water used and it's simple
Oh yes we vacation each summer and it's a relief knowing if we get a leak it will shut it off. GET THIS the wife and I at time have a discussion on " DID WE SHUT THE WATER OFF "? WELL NO LONGER DO WE NEED TO WORRY BECAUSE I CAN SHUT IT OFF ON MY PHONE

Not impressed one bit.
I'm a plumber and bought one for my house after having a leak that caused some damage before it was noticed. The first Moen Flo arrived and I installed it and set up the programming immediately. The following morning I went on the app while my wife was in the shower and no water flow was showing. I checked the valve and tried to shut the water with the app it did nothing. I called tech support and explained what was happening and that the lights were both lit up blue. I was told the device would need to be replaced and they shipped a regular next day. I installed the replacement valve and set it up again hoping the first was a lemon. The valve was working with the program showing flow and water pressure. I also ordered six Moen water sensors for every sink cabinet to shut the water valve in case of another leak. As I was installing the last sensor I plugged in the optional sensor wire and immediately got a text that the sensor had detected water and the valve closed my water. I went to the app and tried to open the valve but it wouldn't accept the command. I then realized the valve lights are both lit solid blue again. I will now have to call tech support in the morning being today is a holiday to see what they saw. As far as I'm concerned I will be sending the water valve back for reimbursement and most likely send the sensors back to where I purchased them also. I'm extremely disappointed in Moen with this product I really wanted it to be great. I will definitely never install another one of these unless they get totally redesigned.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHi Bob! The 900-001 Flo By Moen Leak Detection System is not compatible with Alexa devices. The 900-002-MOEN is the "Smart" version that is compatible with Alexa and some other "smart home assistants."
