Blower Assembly, Includes Motor, Blower Wheel, & Motor Mounting Plate

Our main bathroom exhaust fan went out. Checked the wiring and the switch. Determined that it was indeed the motor that went out. Recieved quotes from contractors from up to $600.00 to replace the entire assembly which we didn't want to do. Went to the big box stores and our local hardware stores and couldn't find JUST the fan/blower assembly since it over 10 years old. Supply House came up 1st on internet search with the motor model number and a very competitive price. It was a exact match with the same wiring plug and noise level. It allowed us to just replace the fan/motor assembly and not the entire assembly. This saved us a lot of work from accessing the crawl space to replace the entire assembly and maybe having to fix the sheetrock if we had to replace the entire assembly.

I searched for a direct replacement for a specific part number bathroom exhaust fan and was led to believe the one I ordered would be that replacement. Upon receipt of the blower & motor assembly, it was significantly bigger; nowhere close to being the parts I need. When I contacted the company, they said they DO HAVE a direct replacement. (Not yet received, so I'll see if it works). So ... they were helpful, but I'm out two extra shipping costs - return of the first (incorrect size) one and shipping cost of the 2nd (HOPEFULLY CORRECT) one. If ordering from Supply House, maybe call and have them assist with the order; don't rely on their computer system.
