C-108 Series 10", 1/2" MPT x 1/2" SWT Inlet Hot & Cold Anti-Siphon Adjustable Wall Faucet

We love having access to hot water at the outdoor faucet -- makes rinsing the kids off after a trip to the beach or pool much nicer for them. I like the self draining feature of this version of the valve. Be sure you get the version with the correct stem length for your wall, install it with a tilt away from the house so the stems drain properly, and it is always a good idea to remove the hose even if you turn off the water inside the house. After seven years, our previous version did freeze but it had been installed improperly, was the wrong model for our wall thickness, and this year I waited too long to remove the hose, so it was not the fault of the product. We also use this for washing pets and to take the chill off the water when we set up a wading poop or sprinklers for the grand children in early summer. They love it, too.

Nice fit & finish. but as other reviews have mentioned when researching it leaks right out of the box. The short term fix of using a garden hose rubber gasket in addition to the one provided within the swivel elbow. Having one unit that can be installed horizontal or vertical is a great idea but the swivel setup fall short in addition to not allowing the mounting plate to be casted with a pitch already incorporated. the mounting screw holes could also benefit from having a little more clearance from the valve and outlet respectively. If it gives me further fits, I will likely just install individual hot & cold faucets with a y-hose to mix.
