Product Features
PRO-Fit Quick Connect push-to-connect refrigerant fittings quickly connect copper and aluminum linesets for mini-split and unitary HVAC units. With no flaring or brazing involved, refrigerant lines can be securely and safely connected by PRO-Fit Quick Connect in various environments.
The unique, leak-proof double O-rings sealing design creates a permanent high pressure gas seal that prevents connection leaks caused by galling, vibration, pulsation and extreme temperature changes.

Had a very bad experience
I connected the union after preparing the 1/4" OD tubing. I pressurized it with 100 PSI compressor and it leaked like a sieve. I could move the fitting get it to stop leaking and then if I moved it again it leaked.
I called rectorseal for support. The rectorseal representative told me they had discontinued the product 5 months ago. I am sweating the connection.

Terrible Product. Dont Buy. I Would Not Buy This Product
Installed It And One Day Later Lost The Entire Charge On A Mini Split Install. I Found Out It Would Leak After Installing The Lineset Cover Causing Some Side Pressure On The Fitting, Resulting In The Fitting Leaking. Just Filed A Warranty Request With rectorseal.

100% failure
The old unions worked 100% for me. The new design failed 100%. If anyone wants to buy the rest of my stock, I will sell all of them dirt cheap.

1/4" Pro-Fit Quick Connect Union
I purchased the 1/4" Pro-Fit Quick Connect Union so I could cut the freon lines on my mini-split A/C to the correct length, I installed this union, had my A/C guy pull a vacuum, and charge the line, everything seemed great, as I was putting the cover over the lines, I bumped the 1/4" connection and it started leaking, had to remove the connector solder in a replacement connection. But Supply House never questioned my return, and refunded my money right away. 👍

Bought 5, one faulty
The quick connects that were not faulty are working well on my mini splits. No leaks or other problems so far. I bought 5 of these and one of them was faulty. After plugging the line set into one end it was easy to pull out even at the correct depth. I think they are good overall but might need a bit better quality control.
