4" PVC Clean Check Backwater Valve

We installed this back flow check valve on a 4" main leaving a commercial building going into the septic tank. Every time it would rain real hard the basement would flood and causing $12,000 in damages and restoration. Instructions are perfect and easy to install. This is very well made and the great thing it is serviceable from the top of the ground and some other valves are not. The flapper part of the valve pulls right up and out by just loosing the thumb screw for cleaning and replacement if need be. Putting the valve flapper back in the pipe is real easy you just line up the notches and it seats right in. We used 6" stand pipe that slides right in the valve body all schedule 40 and 6" clean out adapter at the top of the ground or in our case top of concrete slab with 4" inner stand pipe that is connected to the valve. You can use 2" pipe if you want on the inner stand pipe instead of 4". Who ever designed this valve put a lot of thought into it. The flapper it self is rubber and weighted just right to keep it closed but not enough to not let water or toilet paper pass. This is a must have for any basement or first floor flooding for what ever reason residential or commercial.

East access for maintenance and repair regardless if it's 2' or 12' in the ground .
