Easy set up and controls
I had this installed in about 30 minutes. You will need thermo compound. This controls my wood boiler fan and circulator pump line voltage. Very well built.

Great assistance picking Aquastat
Product works great but what I was more pleased with was the assistance I received in cross referencing a 30 year old unit to its current day equivalent. My local supplier could not figure it out and I took a chance buying online and it worked out great. Installed in less than an hour and my wood boiler is operational again.

Fantastic ... in every way!
My regular plumber claimed the Aquastat was no longer available and that I would need to replace the boiler. I searched and found PexSupply having the product and at a reasonable price! Perfect Aquastat for My Boiler
My gas-fired, warm-start, hot-water heating boiler originally had an aquatstat with a simple single-pole switch that controlled only the burner (the cirulator pump was controlled by the wall thermostat). During long heat calls, the boiler temperature could get dragged down close to the 140-deg flue condensation threshold. With this L4081B aquastat, the circulator is stopped when the boiler temp drops below a setpoint, allowing the burner to catch back up before the circulator is restarted. It takes some experimenting to establish the optimum settings, which requires a reasonably accurate boiler temperature gauge.
The probe fits into a standard thermowell. Heat conductive compound (not supplied with the aquastat) should be applied to the probe.
