Description

These SmartValve System pilot burners provide pilot flame ignition and sensing for SV9500/SV9600 Systems. They consist of replaceable igniter-flame rod assembly, bracket assembly, pilot target, ground electrode, orifice assembly, compression fitting and spring clip. The igniter lights the pilot burner. The flame rod proves the pilot flame and the pilot flame lights the main burner.

- Variety of target styles available.
- Variety of mounting brackets available.

Good product works great
The product is working great, good quality, easy to Install and I like the fact that it came with instructions on how to install the pilot.
Reason why in giving it 4 stars is that first they sent me the wrong part and had to wait extra 4 days without heat in the house until I received the right part. They were very nice on correcting the issue at no extra cost for me.

Not recommended for outdoor use
Product probably works fine for it's intended indoor use scenario, but I would not recommend it for outdoor fire feature usage. The design of the element lends to allowing water droplets to burn out the element. For outdoor use, I would recommend a single post element.

Pilots on smart valve seem to be a common problem .
Complete replacement is more expensive but heads off long term issues
